We all are on the voyage of extraordinary emotions; acceptance, rejection, existence, acclamation, acknowledgment and of course admiration, but in the ocean of life with these waves how far do we go we are not sure. Once who acclaimed to hold the rich mindset, manage successful business delivery and stood top notch in building culture, are no more heard. The togetherness of running the show has dropped down to individual contribution, now that’s what I call the power of encountering something which is beyond control.
I’m sure you are not unaware of the layoff happening, many of them of course not prepared for this change, neither the organization, nor the leadership and not even we the mere individual, but unfortunately we were also not stabilized enough to face this.
No hikes, no promotions, and no rewards, this is supposed to happen when the struggle is so challenging to survive, but then sad that addressing employee on positive note has also not gain any importance.
What’s the expectations? Whereas if you see the other side, there is also increase in accumulating knowledge, finding other opportunities and every individual is trying to be better and better, but this is at the disposal of rejection, fear of surviving and sadness of making the both ends meet.
Where the clients tend to rework on budget, consultant trying to find new possibilities with tweak in cost and plan, managers trying to impose their working style, organizations try to cut down what is left for each one of us, we are just turning to meet the unexpected and map this to be expected, well, puppet of the show.
Organization, Leadership and Strategy freezes at this point of time. Few are able to make it through the journey and a few just want to survive while managing the heat. The top notch minds are finding it difficult to indulge the large audience, the business leads are out of focus, what is left is sustainability. It’s time to call out the trouble and make it work, its type to focus on the aspects which has never been in the arena of flowing cash, it’s time to check ourselves how and what needs to be done to keep the show running. Time flies, it’s true, time changes that’s so true, but time teaches this is the fact.
Organizations are expected to hold the ethics high, leadership is expected to be vigilant and compassionate, Strategy is changing with big smile which is certainly not accepted but has to be decent so that everyone comes together to build the essence of time not be a part of troublesome journey.
